Manpura Upazila

Manpura (Bengali: মনপুরা ) is an Upazila of Bhola District in the Division of Barisal, Bangladesh.

Manpura is located at . It has 8959 units of house hold and total area 373.19 km².

Demographics

As of the 1991 Bangladesh census, Manpura has a population of 51361. Males constitute are 51.63% of the population, and females 48.37%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 20940. Manpura has an average literacy rate of 21.3% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate.^[1]
